Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- As an Access Control Specialist, you will help manage access to secure areas, while supporting security compliance and protection of sensitive assets.
- Administer physical access control to facilities, ensuring proper credentialing, visitor management, and adherence to access policies
- Coordinate badge issuance and revocation, access provisioning, and incident reporting for access violations
- Conduct routine reviews of access logs, report anomalies, and assist with investigations of security incidents
- Performs database queries using DISS & Scattered Castles; prints reports/results; retrieves case files; makes appropriate database entries.
- Performs Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAMS) at customer site.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to access control tasks and processes
- Able to support a flexible schedule of 0600-1400, 0800-1600 and 1000-1800
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience in the security field.
- Familiarity with government security regulations, including NISPOM, & DoD Manuels and policies, pertinent to security.
- Experience working with access control systems (e.g., CCURE)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 1 year + experience with using the Defense Information System for Security   (DISS) and /or Scattered Castles.
