Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol in Stafford, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, assist patients, visitors, and staff with a calm, customer-focused approach, and communicate clearly with team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns per site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes as assigned.
• Control access by monitoring entries and exits, assisting with visitor direction and/or wayfinding, and observing for unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
