Job Summary

TactWare is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer for a key role in the support of a loitering munitions program for a U.S. Marine Corps customer. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in test and evaluation (T&E) planning, execution, and policy within the DOW acquisition framework. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring that systems are rigorously tested and meet safety and performance requirements before being fielded.

Key Responsibilities

The Test and Evaluation Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

Test and Evaluation Strategy Development and Execution
Developing, contributing to, and reviewing Test and Evaluation plans, reports, and other test artifacts
Planning and scheduling test events, with the flexibility to adjust as circumstances evolve
Managing technical, safety, and schedule risks
Supporting Engineering and Logistical technical reviews
Reporting and communicating to stakeholders and senior leadership

Travel up to 30% may be required, including occasional overnight or extended travel to support test events

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (REQUIRED)
Active SECRET Clearance or higher
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in test planning, execution, and reporting Excellent writing, communication, and briefing skills
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Project)
Ability to write technical reports in approved formats

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree
Former Military experience
Demonstrated experience in DOW acquisition
Experience with loitering munitions, fires systems, or other unmanned systems
Weapons Safety Board experience
