Caregiver / Companion Care Aide (Part-Time & Flexible Shifts)

Location: Stafford, VA 22554 and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers to provide companion care and personal care services to seniors and adults in Stafford and surrounding communities. We have a variety of shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and fill-in opportunities.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Companion Care Services

Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement
Offer emotional support and encouragement
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Accompany clients during activities and daily routines
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and organized home environment

Personal Care Services

Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed
Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers
Offer medication reminders
Assist with toileting and incontinence care when required
Monitor client well-being and report any concerns

Dementia and Memory Care Support

Provide supervision and safety monitoring
Use redirection and reassurance techniques
Encourage routine and engagement in daily activities
Support clients with patience, dignity, and respect

Qualifications

Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience preferred
Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory-related conditions is a plus
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and client instructions
Professional and respectful demeanor

Requirements

Must pass a background screening
Must provide documentation verifying eligibility to work
Reliable transportation preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to client needs
