Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Gift Shop Attendant  is to provide guests with an excellent experience in the retail shops.
Work Performed:
The Gift Shop Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Provide high-quality guest service through outstanding interpersonal relations, informing guests about available retail items for purchase and about amenities in the hotel and surrounding area;
- Market available gift shop items to guests;
- Clean and disinfect the Gift Shop;  Â
- Maintain and refresh merchandise and displays; Capture all sales according to company guidelines, including responsibility for the cash drawer;
- Inventory merchandise and inform management when stock needs ordered;
- Account for all cash and secure money drops according to company policy;
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior Experience:
Prior customer service experience
Prior retail experience
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical:
Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend and squat repeatedly
Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
