Birch Agency is seeking ESL/ TESOL Teachers to join our team

We are currently looking for passionate and experienced teachers to join our second language classroom in Stamford, CT. We are looking for experienced, bilingual teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning a second language.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 2nd language to students who are struggling with English reading, writing, and speaking.

• Provide daily instruction to students in a classroom environment.

• Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure that students are learning from a variety of sources in a variety of ways.

• Provide high-quality instruction based on the instructional plan developed by the classroom teachers.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum

• Provide tutoring and support to students as needed

• Assist in the development of educational materials and resources

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' language proficiency

• Offer guidance and coaching to other teachers as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Teacher of ESL/ TESOL

• Minimum of an associate degree

• Bilingualism in Spanish preferred
