Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and caring  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. This role involves working closely with our pediatricians, staff, and families to provide exceptional clinical support and ensure a welcoming experience for our patients. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, vaccinations, specimen collection, and administering medications
  • Assist with patient intake and documentation in the EHR
  • Educate parents and caregivers on child health, wellness, and treatment plans
  • Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report concerns
  • Maintain clean and organized clinical areas in compliance with infection control protocols
  • Participate in care coordination and follow-up with families
  • Telephone triage as needed
Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in Connecticut
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous experience in pediatrics strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
Work Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling available
  • Full-time (Monday–Friday) or Part-time (negotiable days/hours)
  • No evening or weekend shifts required
  • Supportive and team-oriented work environment
