It’s about success, of course, but it’s also about making a positive impact on everyone our business touches.      About the Role As our Sr. Engineer, Business Systems, you will serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for Lovesac's NetSuite ecosystem and related business-critical applications. You will be responsible for understanding how systems operate across existing and future integrations, designing scalable solutions, optimizing business processes, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the platform.   This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business process knowledge, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement, Retail Operations, Customer Care, eCommerce, and Technology teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, automate manual processes, strengthen controls, and support enterprise growth.   The ideal candidate is equally comfortable troubleshooting production issues, leading complex enhancement initiatives, building custom solutions, driving user adoption, and influencing long-term platform strategy.   This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT.    Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.   What You’ll Do Platform Ownership & Optimization Serve as the primary technical owner and steward of the NetSuite platform. Maintain platform stability, scalability, security, performance, and supportability. Evaluate, test, and implement NetSuite releases, enhancements, and new platform capabilities. Establish governance standards, development best practices, and deployment processes. Manage platform lifecycle planning, technical debt, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive user adoption and champion NetSuite capabilities across the organization.   Solution Design & Development Design, develop, configure, and support NetSuite customizations utilizing SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, dashboards, workflows, forms, reports, and integrations. Plan, review, and revise system configurations to meet evolving business needs. Develop scalable solutions that automate business processes, improve data accuracy, and support future growth. Translate business requirements into durable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.   Enterprise Systems & Integrations Support existing and future integrations between NetSuite and enterprise applications. Partner with internal developers, external consultants, system integrators, and Professional Services organizations on complex projects and enhancements. Collaborate with teams supporting platforms such as Salesforce, Boomi, Celigo, Manhattan, Avalara, Concur, banking platforms, and other enterprise applications. Troubleshoot complex integration failures and ensure data integrity across connected systems. Participate in enterprise architecture discussions and recommend innovative system improvements.   Business Partnership & Operational Support Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Care, and Technology teams. Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for NetSuite, data integrity issues, and  point-of-sale solutions. Manage incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Maintain documentation, testing plans, support procedures, and operational runbooks. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and coordinate deployment activities.   Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, security standards, and governance policies. Support user access reviews, segregation of duties, and role-based access controls. Follow best practices for testing, development, deployment, implementation, and change management. Identify opportunities to reduce risk, automate manual processes, improve controls, and drive operational efficiency. Support enterprise transformation initiatives and ERP enhancement programs.   Leadership & Collaboration Serve as the technical lead for NetSuite-related projects and initiatives. Influence platform strategy and architectural decision-making. Mentor team members, consultants, and business partners on NetSuite best practices. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations effectively. Consistently meet or exceed project goals, KPIs, and business objectives. Expert proficiency level for NetSuite. Experience designing, configuring, and supporting NetSuite customizations, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, forms, and reporting solutions. Strong understanding of ERP business processes, including financials, procurement, inventory management, order management, and reporting. Experience supporting enterprise integrations and cross-platform business systems. Working knowledge of SuiteScript, SQL, JavaScript, APIs (REST/SOAP), and Excel formulas. iPaas platform intermediate proficiency level (Boomi/Celigo/Mulesoft/etc.) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, or consumer products environments. Experience with Boomi, Celigo, Salesforce, Manhattan, Avalara, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar enterprise platforms. Experience supporting SOX-regulated or public company environments.
