What is in it for you

Compensation is $36.00 - $42.00 per hour based upon experience. 

Responsibilities

• Prepares for the pre-assigned cases using physician preference.
• Setting up the operating room prior to surgery.
• Opens supplies/instruments utilizing aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments to surgeons during surgery.
• Follows established policies and procedures as it relates to counting of sponges, instruments etc.
• Initiates corrective action when counts are incorrect.
• Anticipate the need of the surgical team and communicate effectively with the team to ensure quality of patient care.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-year surgical scrub experience (Preferred)
• Minimum of 3 yrs experience as a Surgical Technician (Required)
• Experience with Endoscopy
• Self-starter who works well independently
• Time management and skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization with attention to detail
• Good attitude, professionalism, promote team structure
• Surgical Technician Certification (Preferred)
• You must meet the state requirements under the Surgical Technologist law to be considered for this opportunity.
