Loan Processor job duties are listed below. Other duties, including Teller, may be assigned:
â–ª Review loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment compliance standards.
â–ª Initiate credit verification.
â–ª Type and mail adverse action notices to applicants.
â–ª Initiate title insurance and appraisal orders.
â–ª Prepare and type loan applications, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms, and checks using computer system.
â–ª Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title insurance, insurance forms, loan forms, and tax receipts.Â
â–ª File and maintain loan records.
â–ª Calculate, review, and correct errors on interest, principal, payment, and closing costs.
â–ª Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions.
â–ª Track status of loans.
â–ª Ensure security of collateral by filing & renewing appropriate Deeds of Trust, Deeds of Release, UCC's, and Notice of Liens.
â–ª Work with insurance companies to ensure protection against loss of collateral.
â–ª Prepare cash flow projections as directed by loan officer.
â–ª Process rate change notifications.
â–ª Process loan payments.
â–ª Load new loans and loan maintenance in Computer System.
â–ª Prepare loan modifications as directed by loan officer.
â–ª Check loan maintenance, as required.
â–ª Monitor paid off loans, processing releases accordingly.
â–ª Process past due notices and distribute to loan officers.
â–ª Process escrow, if required.
Prior loan processing and bank teller experience preferred.
