At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll drive

As VP of Product – Enterprise Agentic Compliance, you will lead the cross-portfolio execution and governance required to ensure SAP’s agentic AI capabilities are trusted, compliant, secure, and enterprise-ready.

Working across product, engineering, architecture, security, legal, and compliance teams, you will establish the frameworks, standards, and operating mechanisms that enable SAP product teams to innovate quickly while meeting enterprise requirements for responsible AI.

Rather than owning an individual product roadmap, you will operate horizontally across SAP’s AI portfolio—driving alignment, readiness, accountability, and execution across multiple product and technology organizations.

  • Lead the cross-functional operating model for Enterprise Agentic Compliance, coordinating priorities, dependencies, risks, and readiness across product, engineering, architecture, security, legal, and compliance teams
  • Establish and drive enterprise-wide standards and guardrails for the secure, responsible, and compliant development and deployment of agentic AI capabilities
  • Define frameworks for AI evaluation, release readiness, quality, hallucination risk, privacy, security, auditability, monitoring, and operational performance
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to integrate compliance and enterprise-readiness requirements into their product roadmaps and development processes
  • Drive cross-organizational decisions and trade-offs involving time-to-market, regulatory requirements, security, reliability, cost, and risk
  • Establish clear governance, decision rights, escalation mechanisms, and accountability across teams developing and deploying agentic AI capabilities
  • Oversee readiness and rollout processes for agentic capabilities, ensuring appropriate controls, monitoring, rollback mechanisms, and continuous improvement are in place
  • Identify systemic risks, gaps, and dependencies across the portfolio and drive the appropriate teams toward resolution
  • Develop metrics and executive reporting that provide transparency into compliance, readiness, risk, and execution across SAP’s agentic AI portfolio
  • Represent Enterprise Agentic Compliance in executive forums, translating complex technical, regulatory, and operational considerations into clear decisions and actions

What you bring

You are an enterprise AI leader who excels at creating structure, alignment, and accountability across complex organizations. You understand modern AI deeply enough to challenge technical decisions and assess risk, while bringing the influence and execution discipline required to drive outcomes across teams you do not directly control.

  • 15+ years of experience across enterprise software, technology strategy, product operations, program leadership, governance, or related disciplines, including significant senior leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of AI products and architectures, including large language models, agentic runtimes, tool-using agents, orchestration, grounding, and enterprise AI platforms
  • Strong expertise in AI security, trust, risk, and compliance, including privacy, access controls, auditability, prompt-injection defenses, and responsible AI practices
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks, operating models, standards, and execution mechanisms across complex technology organizations
  • Working knowledge of LLM/ML Ops, including evaluation, monitoring, safe rollout and rollback, regression testing, and production readiness
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product and engineering organizations without direct ownership of their roadmaps or teams
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and accountability across stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Strong judgment and willingness to challenge teams constructively when speed, innovation, security, and compliance requirements conflict
  • Highly execution-oriented, with the ability to identify risks, establish clear ownership, remove blockers, and drive complex initiatives to completion
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI, regulatory, and technical issues into clear decisions and actionable recommendations

Where you belong

As VP of Product – Enterprise Agentic Compliance, you will operate at the center of SAP’s rapidly evolving agentic AI ecosystem.

You will partner closely with the leaders who own SAP’s AI products, platforms, and engineering roadmaps, providing the governance, standards, coordination, and enterprise-readiness discipline required to bring trusted agentic capabilities to market at scale.

This role is best suited for a leader who thrives through influence, orchestration, governance, and cross-organizational execution—and who is energized by enabling product teams across SAP to innovate responsibly and successfully.
