SUMMARY
Performs high-quality care. Assists in the daily routines of the Emergency department. Assists the RN and Physicians in the performance of procedures and care of patients.

STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Star Lake Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Emergency Department
SCHEDULE: 12hr shifts, Night, Variable
ATTRIBUTES
- REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program and have a NYS LPN License.
- Must have BLS certification
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, work independently and lift 1/- 50lbs
- Looking for candidate that embraces customer service and who can work with all facets of Healthcare providers.
- PREFERRED: 1-3 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Placing Intravenous lines
- Monitoring patients vitals and recording them
- Assist the RNs and Medical staff with basic medical tasks
- Evaluate the patients wellbeing and reporting any needs to the medical staff
- Moving patients from Wheelchairs, beds and gurney
- Administering medications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work lifting, pushing and pulling patients; requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $23.00 - $28.00
