Practice Manager – Outpatient Clinic

Full-Time | Exempt

Starting Pay: $36.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized, and mission-driven Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our outpatient primary care clinic, as well as our expanding infusion and wellness services. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a patient-centered environment and is passionate about improving care delivery in a rural community setting.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and optimize patient flow
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including MAs/LPNs, front desk, and scheduling teams
  • Manage staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Support providers by improving workflows and ensuring adequate resources
  • Monitor and improve key metrics such as productivity, patient access, and quality outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DOH, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA)
  • Collaborate with billing teams to improve charge capture and reduce claim denials
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the patient experience
  • Support the development and implementation of new service lines, including infusion and wellness programs

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of healthcare management or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of outpatient clinic operations and patient flow
  • Working knowledge of medical billing, coding, and payer requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
