About the Role
Eutis Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support medical screening operations for Florida State Guard candidates at Camp Blanding, Florida. This role involves overseeing the medical evaluation process and ensuring that each candidate completes the required physical examination safely and accurately.
The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside nursing staff who will assist with vitals and medical questionnaires while the NP conducts evaluations and signs off on candidate physical examinations. The NP will serve as the on-site medical authority and be available to address any medical concerns or emergencies that may arise during the screening process.
Schedule:
- Dates: April 7 – April 30
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Candidates must be able to work the full 30-day assignment during the contract period
What You'll Do
- Conduct and review physical examinations for Florida State Guard candidates.
- Sign off on completed medical physical evaluations after reviewing candidate assessments and documentation.
- Supervise and collaborate with nursing staff conducting vital signs and medical questionnaires.
- Evaluate candidate medical histories and determine eligibility for physical clearance.
- Provide medical oversight during the screening process and ensure proper clinical procedures are followed.
- Address medical concerns, urgent health issues, or emergencies that may arise during candidate processing.
- Ensure all medical documentation is completed accurately and meets required standards.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and safe clinical screening environment.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner license
- National NP certification
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience performing physical examinations and medical evaluations
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with nursing staff
- Professional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to commit to the full 30-day assignment (April 7 – April 30)
- Ability to pass required background screening and credentialing requirements
- Must meet health requirements including physical exam, TB test or chest X-ray, immunizations, COVID vaccination, and flu vaccination
