We are celebrating over 100 years of serving children and adults and are proud of our history!  POSITION Our Childhood Development Center is looking to hire caring and nurturing Classroom Aide to work with children of various ages. The position starts with 30 hours with the possibility of more. Benefits include healthcare, paid time off and retirement plan eligibility. Our staff are a caring and closely knit group. JOB SUMMARY-CLASSROOM AIDE The Classroom Aide is responsible for providing coverage in various classrooms and assisting in implementing on-going educational program that contributes to the care, growth, and development of the children in a given classroom(s) and throughout the center on an as-needed basis. QUALIFICATIONS-CLASSROOM AIDE High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Prior experience working with children preferred. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Acceptable Criminal Record Check required. Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required. Acceptable FBI Clearance required. Acceptable National Sex Offender Registry Clearance required Passing of physical examination and TB required. HOURS/BENEFITS This is a flexible hourly position Monday- Friday starting at 30 hours with healthcare, paid time off and retirement plan eligibility. The hours can be more based on program need. There is no weekend, evening or holiday work. The hourly rate is $13.00. WHY WORK FOR US?
