POSITION SUMMARY
Performs CT examinations including special procedure examinations under the direction of the supervisor and CT Section Head.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved two year radiologic training program.
Experience:
- Experience on GE Systems is preferred.
- Two years’ work experience in CT is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must have the ability to function as a team member and the ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients, staff members and physicians.
License/Certification/Registration:
- Registered with the ARRT. Meets continuing education requirements set forth by the ARRT.
- Registered in CT meeting continuing education requirements.
- Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
 Receives direct supervision from the Supervisor, Imaging Services and CT Section Head.
