Our Child Development Center is looking to hire a Lead Teacher II to provide classroom instruction. The position is fulll-time, 40 hours at $16.00 and hour with full-benefits valued at over 6K. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE LEAD TEACHER II Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field required; OR Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1year of experience with children required; OR Associates degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children required; OR Associates degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children required. Prior experience in working with children (ages birth to 8) preferred. Current valid PA drivers license and acceptable driving record obtained through the PA Department of Transportation required. Acceptable Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Human Services FBI clearances required. NSOR clearance required. Passing of physical examination and TB required. JOB RESPONSIBILITES FOR THE LEAD TEACHER II include: Responsibility for classroom instruction, student assessment, and data collection, as well as, implementing goals of Individuals Family Service Plan (IFSP) and transition support. Create daily and monthly lesson plans that are available to review at least one week in advance. Follow the established, play-based curriculum (Creative Curriculum) and implement adaptations, as necessary and appropriate, for each child. Plan for learning activities within established classroom centers and rotate materials monthly and as appropriate. HOURS/BENEFITS The Lead Teacher II/III is a full-time position M-F 40 hours per week with one hour unpaid lunch. The hourly range is $16.
