Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This role involves leading HVAC projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for various building types.
• Oversee and manage HVAC projects from conception to completion.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HVAC design.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Trane TRACE).
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
