Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of our property, buildings, and equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled with tools and machinery, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a hands‑on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractors, skid steers, and other equipment for grounds maintenance, material movement, snow removal, and property projects.
- Perform general building maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and structural repairs.
- Support warehouse and property operations by moving materials, clearing areas, and maintaining equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate tractors, skid steers, and other light or mid‑size equipment.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repair.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, digging, lifting, and equipment operation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- MUST HAVE A RELIABLE PICKUP TRUCK
Preferred Skills
- Experience with landscaping, irrigation, or property management.
- Basic knowledge of safety related to equipment operation and grounds maintenance.
Work Environment
- Outdoor property areas, warehouse yard, parking lots, and building interiors.
- Frequent physical activity, including lifting, climbing, and operating machinery.
- Work may involve exposure to heat, cold, rain, or other weather conditions.
