Job DetailsJob Location: Statenville, GA 31648Salary Range: $10.00 - $10.00 HourlyJob Shift: EveningJanitor / Custodian (Full-Time) Location: Statenville, GA Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Starting Pay: $10.00 per hour Job Summary American Facility Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout school facilities and grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, hallways, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces. Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies. Set up and arrange furniture for meetings, events, and school activities. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs. Secure buildings by locking doors and windows as required. Assist with seasonal cleaning and special projects. Follow all school district safety procedures and cleaning protocols. Background Screening Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements. Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Pass criminal background screening Authorized to work in the US.  Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb ladders when necessary. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate custodial equipment and cleaning tools safely. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when required.
