Are you passionate about helping people learn, solve problems, and use technology to improve outcomes? Children's Hope Alliance is looking for an EHR Training & Systems Specialist who thrives at the intersection of technology, training, and user support.


In this role, you'll play a key part in empowering employees to confidently use our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system while helping improve workflows that support children, families, and communities. If you enjoy training others, analyzing data, solving system challenges, and collaborating with teams to create better processes, we'd love to hear from you.


This position supports our Central and Western North Carolina markets. Candidates located anywhere between the Greensboro and Asheville areas are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of current location.


This position is classified as a non-exempt, full-time hourly role and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.


What You'll Do


As our EHR Training & Systems Specialist, you'll be a trusted resource for employees across the organization by:

  • Delivering engaging EHR training and onboarding experiences for new and existing staff.
  • Creating user-friendly training materials, job aids, videos, and knowledge resources.
  • Partnering with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
  • Supporting the testing, validation, and implementation of EHR enhancements and new system features.
  • Providing technical troubleshooting and end-user support to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Utilizing reporting tools, SQL, Power BI, and other data resources to support organizational needs and data integrity.
  • Monitoring training effectiveness and system utilization to continuously improve user adoption and performance.
  • Translating business needs into practical technology solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.


What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and passionate about helping others succeed through technology.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting EHR systems, healthcare operations, technical training, help desk support, or information systems.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query, reporting, data validation, or EHR report writing is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts and make them accessible to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
