Description

Iredell Health System is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for the Radiology department. Responsibilities include determining appropriate patient care plans, collaborating wtih the medical team, performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures. Candidates should possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills along with a relevant medical license. Determine appropriate pateint care plan using medical decision-making skills.

Collaborate with medical team for effective team-based care.

Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.


Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program; Master's degree perferred.

Current applicable state medical licence

Ability to perform complex patient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan

Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.

Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.

Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure

Exemplary organizational skills
