Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a top-tier leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-value strategic projects across multiple sites. Your Responsibilities:Â
Strategic Project LeadershipÂ
Lead and deliver large-scale capital projects (>$15M), including:Â
Capacity expansion initiativesÂ
Major infrastructure upgradesÂ
Strategic contract execution and industrializationÂ
Define project strategy, scope, timelines, and success criteria aligned with business objectivesÂ
Act as the primary owner from concept through execution and operational handoverÂ
Stakeholder & Executive ManagementÂ
Serve as the main interface with senior leadership and executive stakeholdersÂ
Provide strategic updates, risk assessments, and decision-making recommendationsÂ
Align cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partnersÂ
Financial & Risk ManagementÂ
Own full project financials, including CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost controlÂ
Ensure adherence to approved budgets, ROI targets, and financial governanceÂ
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across technical, financial, and operational dimensionsÂ
Contract & Vendor ManagementÂ
Lead selection, negotiation, and management of contractors, EPC firms, and key suppliersÂ
Ensure contractual compliance, performance, and delivery of project milestonesÂ
Manage complex commercial agreements tied to strategic initiativesÂ
Governance & Execution ExcellenceÂ
Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting structuresÂ
Drive schedule adherence, quality standards, and safety complianceÂ
Ensure proper documentation, change management, and project closure practicesÂ

Your Qualifications:Â
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)Â
10–15+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on capital-intensive projectsÂ
Proven track record delivering projects exceeding $15M in valueÂ
Experience managing multi-site or geographically distributed projectsÂ
Ability to travel regularly (20–40%) across assigned project locations (2–3 sites)Â
Flexibility to be based at a primary site while supporting multi-location executionÂ
Strong strategic thinking and business acumenÂ
Expertise in CAPEX project planning and executionÂ
Advanced stakeholder management, including executive-level communicationÂ
Solid understanding of construction, industrial systems, and infrastructure projectsÂ
Financial management and cost control expertiseÂ
Risk management and problem-solving capabilityÂ
Ability to operate at a senior leadership level with minimal supervisionÂ
Influence and alignment across diverse, cross-functional teamsÂ

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 to $171,700  +15%-20% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Â
