About the Role:

The Production Associate position is responsible for ensuring products are assembled and/or packed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.  This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient and high-quality manufacturing that meets customer and regulatory requirements and supports overall operations. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the final inspection and packaging of medical devices, helping ensure each product is ready for customer use.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Precise control over the movement of tools and workpieces. 
  • Good hand-eye coordination is necessary for manipulating controls, adjusting settings, and achieving accurate results.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes.
  • Certification in operating specific machinery or equipment.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to follow written work instructions

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and document results to maintain product integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Work often involves manipulating small parts and operating controls with precision. 
  • A good level of manual dexterity is essential for handling tools, adjusting machine settings, and placing and removing workpieces.
  • Assemble products or components manually or with automated equipment, in accordance with technical specifications and work instructions.
  • Ensure all assembly tasks are completed accurately and meet production timelines.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize waste or errors.

Skills:

Attention to detail is crucial for conducting quality checks and ensuring that products meet specifications. Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read, understand, and follow written work instructions, procedures, and production-related documentation are essential. Teamwork skills are necessary for collaborating with colleagues to optimize production processes and resolve issues. Familiarity with safety protocols is vital to maintain a safe working environment. The purpose of a Production Associate is to ensure that products are assembled and/or packed according to specified procedures and quality standards. This role is critical for maintaining the efficient flow of production, ensuring that products meet customer and regulatory requirements, and supporting overall manufacturing operations.


Consistent with Cadence's career architecture, this position may be staffed at varying experience levels. Criteria evaluated when determining level and compensation are based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.


1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm. //
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am. Shift eligible for a 7% shift differential.
