Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Springhill Suites & TownePlace Suites located in Steamboat Springs, CO. Candidates must have prior hotel management experience and a passion for delivering superior customer service. This is a dual property with 180 rooms, conference space, lounge, complimentary breakfast, and outdoor hot tubs and pool.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and engineering
  • Human resources: hiring, scheduling, training, coaching and counseling of employees, problem resolution and discipline
  • Resolve customer complaints, anticipate potential problems, operational issues, business flow and associate performance
  • Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have previous hotel management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
