Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Tire Technician to join our team at [Company Name]. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automotive repair and looking to develop their skills in a hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanics and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Perform tire installation, rotation, balancing, and flat repairs on heavy-duty trucks and refuse vehicles. Inspect tread wear, check and adjust air pressure, and ensure tires meet safety standards to maintain reliable fleet operation and minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of services and repairs completed.
  • Communicate effectively with senior mechanics and customers about the condition of vehicles.
  • Continuously learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior team members 


Qualifications:


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Experience: 

  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair is a plus, but not required.


Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
  • Travel, evenings, and weekend hours may be required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
