About the Position

This Director of Physical Therapy role offers the opportunity to lead outpatient rehab services while staying closely connected to patient treatment. The clinic is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist who can guide care quality, support team members, and help patients move through therapy with clear direction.

Patients may be recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, rebuilding strength, or working through mobility limitations. As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will help make sure their care is organized, appropriate, and adjusted as they progress.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient physical therapy services and clinical operations
• Complete evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Create treatment plans based on diagnosis, function, and patient goals
• Treat patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, pain, and mobility concerns
• Provide guidance to clinical staff on care planning and documentation
• Review patient records for compliance and quality standards
• Assist with daily workflow, scheduling coordination, and patient communication

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Current Virginia PT license or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting required
• Prior director, lead therapist, or management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of treatment progression and clinical documentation

This position includes PTO, Health Insurance, and a 401K Plan with 3% Company Match.
