Plastics Machine Operators – Tier 1 Automotive Facility

We are currently hiring Plastics Machine Operators for a Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights (18 1/2 Mile Road). No prior experience is required — paid training is provided!

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in automotive manufacturing and gain hands-on production experience in a fast-paced environment.

Available Shift & Pay:

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour + $0.75 shift premium = $16.75/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Retrieve plastic parts from conveyor lines
Visually inspect parts for defects or imperfections
Wipe, trim, label, and sort finished parts
Record approved and rejected part counts
Print and apply labels to packaging
Transport completed parts to designated workstations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Job Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to follow supervisor instructions accurately
Work well independently and within a team environment
Dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn

Additional Information:

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs

No experience is necessary — training is provided! This is an excellent opportunity to build manufacturing experience with a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
