Construction Laborer

Skillforce is currently hiring construction laborers for an ongoing projects in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate has 2 years of commercial construction experience and is reliable with good work ethic. 

Pay and Schedule:

Pay: $19.00- $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 

Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm 

Responsibilities

• Assisting carpenters and various skilled tradesman on site. 
• Site preparation and clean up.
• Material and equipment handling.
• Following all health and safety regulations, including those established by OSHA.
• Operating hand and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, saws, etc.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting building materials (lumber, steel, concrete, etc.) around the site.
• Clearing debris, garbage, and hazardous materials to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in the construction industry.
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices (preferred)
• An OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid ID- drivers license, passport, etc.
