Pay $17.50 per hour + tips Available Shifts Morning: 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM Evening: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Greet guests and provide friendly, fast, and accurate service Prepare sandwiches and menu items according to Jimmy John’s standards Slice and prepare meats, cheeses, and other ingredients Take customer orders and accurately process transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary restaurant Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Stock ingredients and supplies as needed Work efficiently and accurately during busy rush periods Support your teammates and contribute to a positive work environment Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as needed What We’re Looking For Reliable and punctual team members Friendly and positive attitude Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and stay organized Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Meat-slicing experience preferred Previous restaurant, deli, sandwich shop, or food-service experience is a plus Experience operating a commercial meat slicer is preferred Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation is a plus IMPORTANT IAD AIRPORT REQUIREMENTS Because this position is located inside Washington Dulles International Airport, all candidates are required to: Successfully pass an in-person TSA fingerprint background check Provide two forms of valid, original, undamaged identification Meet all airport security and badging requirements Complete the required fingerprinting and airport badging process Please note: Candidates must have the required identification available and be able to successfully complete the TSA fingerprint background check and airport badging process. Comply: Always complies with all airport and/or train station rules and regulations. Dependability: Is punctual. Can be relied upon to be at work according to schedule. Complies with policies regarding clocking in/out and use of breaks. Uniform/Personal Appearance:  Always dressed in complete uniform and presents a well-groomed appearance. Product Handling/Stocking:  Handles all products and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner.  Distributes the products and supplies efficiently according to store’s requisition/stock list. Company Policies and Procedures:  Regularly adheres to policies and standard operating procedures.  Must be able to bend, twist and stand for extended periods to perform job functions. Must have the ability to lift and push objects weighing over 40 lbs. Follows safety rules provided in the TGI Safety Manual along with other TGI policies and procedures.
