ASSYST is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior .NET Developer to join our growing development team in Sterling, VA (Onsite role).

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career software developer to gain hands-on experience with modern .NET technologies while contributing to enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance full-stack web applications, contributing to both user-facing features and backend services.
Build clean, scalable, and maintainable application components and APIs.
Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern web development technologies.
Work with relational databases, including data modeling, queries, and application integration.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with senior developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Stay current with modern software development practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve development skills and application quality.

Requirements:

0–2 years of hands-on software development experience through internships, academic or personal projects, bootcamps, or early-career roles.
Strong foundational knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming concepts.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web application and API concepts.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
Basic experience with Git or other version control systems.
Willingness to learn across both front-end and back-end development, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
US Citizenship is required with the eligibility to obtain clearance.
