LSSI is hiring a full-time Team Lead, Monday through Friday. Responsible for assisting in the supervision and management of residential programs as well as providing direct care, specialized treatment and assistance to individuals in a residential program in accordance with the individuals’ plans and in accordance with Client Centered Plans.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain staffing requirements, including creating staff schedule and covering schedule when needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Client’s Center Plan for clients as well as facilitate the integration of all services related to the requirements.
- Lead, train, assign responsibilities, and coordinate activities of staff.
- Ensure the completion of all necessary reports and other documentation is done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure scheduled safety drills are completed, and all required documentation of the drills is completed and submitted.
- Provide direction and initiate communication with necessary personnel.
- Ensure the living environment is kept clean and safe, completing special duties as assigned.
- Provide residents with direct care assistance as identified or required.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- DSP eligible, CPR, First Aide Certification.
- Two (2) to three (3) year’s experience in a related field preferred.
- Experience in a leadership/supervisory role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software)
- Background check clearance required.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
