Responsible for performing the physical & administrative tasks involved in the storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies. The inventory clerk maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies as well as receiving materials. This position reports directly to the Inventory Manager, and works closely within the procurement team. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Track, manage, and maintain accurate records of materials and supplies.  
  • Receive, unpack, verify, label, sort and stock materials and supplies 
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Document materials and supplies by recording units delivered, tracking numbers and location of units.  
  • Pack and deliver completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated work cell areas and release to work-in-process (WIP) as required. 
  • Remove any excess or unused parts back to appropriate inventory locations. 
  • Inspect all incoming shipments for damage, working closely with incoming QC 
  • Maintain inventory integrity and perform cycle counts. 

 

Qualifications/Experience: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in receiving and/or inventory 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Proficiency working with computers 
  • Experience working in manufacturing preferred 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds 
  • Ability to complete basic math computations
