Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and complies with safety and environmental guidelines

  • Conducts regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery

  • Diagnoses problems with equipment and repairs/replaces defective parts

  • Fabricates as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic math skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Able to troubleshoot and problem solve at a basic level
  • Carpentry skills, preferred
  • Basic manufacturing wiring skills, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to consistently stand, walk, squat/kneel, bend, reach, pull/push, work at heights (approximately 4 stories), climb, work at waist height and overhead.
  • Able to read, comprehend and communicate (written and verbal) in English.
  • Able to perform fine and gross motor skills.
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
