Job Summary:

This position will provide regular (weekly) and specific programing support for the off campus students and international student community through the ministry of Peace Lutheran Campus Center/Peace Lutheran Student Fellowship.  In addition to creating and implementing various opportunities for these students this position will attend other various organizations’ meetings to help promote Peace by strengthening relationships with this part of the student body. Also, this position with be in communication with and will work closely with the university’s OIE office to help support the needs of these students.     

Qualifications: Must be outgoing and have a willingness to leave your comfort zone. Good organization skills.  Have a sincere interest in others and desire to learn about other’s backgrounds.  Patience and positive listening skills are an absolute necessity.  This individual must have the ability to be a self-starter, to problem solve and a willingness to serve students through behind-the-scenes tasks while being able to pay attention to minute details is expected.  Creativity, flexibility and a willingness to encourage others to get involved is expected.  Able to work alone.  Lutheran background is a great advantage. 

Consistent hours each week are expected.

Hourly rate of pay $8.00
