Job description:

We are looking for a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to take ownership, manage, and assist with the cleanliness of our facility. This position requires the ability to hold our employees accountable to maintain the cleanest work environment possible for our residents and staff.

Pay: $20-$23/hr.

This supervisor is responsible for:

  • Communicates information to staff regarding new resident admissions and resident discharges to ensure rooms are deep cleaned between admissions
  • Ensures that new employees are properly oriented and trained.
  • Develops employee work assignments and schedules.
  • Supervises and assists in management of the infection control program including ensuring that personal protective equipment is used in the handling of infectious materials by Environmental Services personnel and when entering an isolation resident room
  • Ensures that adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment are maintained.
  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of written Environmental Services policies and procedures.
  • Provides written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator, as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the Environmental Services department.
