Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services in collaboration with a supervising physician. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate professional who enjoys working as part of an integrated care team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based healthcare.

The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, promote wellness through education and preventive care, and help advance Noble’s mission to make quality healthcare accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a clinic or health center setting under the direction of a supervising physician.

  • Conduct thorough patient interviews and complete medical histories related to the visit or presenting concern.

  • Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately.

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as labs, x-rays, and EKGs.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and management plans.

  • Prescribe or recommend medications and therapeutic procedures as appropriate within scope of practice.

  • Perform minor procedures such as suturing, injections, and wound care.

  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, family planning, and chronic disease management.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other members of the care team.

  • Refer patients for specialty or advanced care when indicated.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in Epic (OCHIN).

  • Participate in quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and ongoing professional education.

  • Ensure compliance with all organizational, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Education, Licensure & Certification

  • Master of Science in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner focus required.

  • Current and valid State Licensure and National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

  • Current DEA license (or eligibility).

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  • Prior experience with Epic EMR preferred.

  • Experience in primary care or ambulatory care strongly preferred.

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.
