Job Summary:

The WFC is looking to hire a student to help our High School Forestry Workforce Development Curriculum meet current digital accessibility requirements under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The student will need to complete training on how to design equitable courses through the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and make sure the curriculum aligns with those standards. The curriculum consists of 4 modules (Tree Identification and Biology, Forest Health, Forest Management, and Forest Products) that use slide decks that need to be Title II compliant.

Required Qualifications

Good communication and writing skills

Familiarity with Microsoft products

Familiarity or willingness to learn Title II compliance

 

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with science/ natural resource topics

 

Education Qualifications

Enrolled in 12 undergraduate credits

2.5 or higher GPA

Good academic standing
