Job Description

Conduct pulp and papermaking lab trials; including kraft pulping, pulp evaluation, bleaching, fiber analysis, handsheet making and evaluations.

Keep raw materials and samples properly.

Keep the lab in good condition.

Record worklogs and conduct limited data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

1. Paper Science and/or Chemical Engineering Major.

2. Understand pulping and papermaking basics.

3. Ability to follow testing procedures, operate the instruments accurately and safely.

4. Know TAPPI test standards.

Wage: $15/hour

Approximately up to 10 hours/week
