SUMMARY: Responsible for processing dealer invoices and maintaining store products data base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Answer phone.

Process all dealer transactions including invoicing and scheduling deliveries.

Schedule deliveries to customers.

Maintain price book for yard and miscellaneous merchandise.

Manage and maintain Agri-Center feed contracts, ensuring product and customer contract information remains accurate and up to date.

Provide sales, product, customer, and feed contract reports as requested by management.

Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for store.

Process yard product invoices for payment.

Review and analyze product costs for yard items.

Review Agri-Center feed prices and update price board.

Assist in maintenance of customer and dealer information in both Eagle and AgVantage.

Review and verify feed inventory and pricing reports from the office and feed plant.

May have some responsibility for ordering merchandise.

Maintain and update customer tax card information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent; six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.  Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.   Because you are responsible for the telephone and meeting customers good speech is necessary.  Ability to speak effectively before small groups of employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages and apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

SKILLS:
This job requires that you work with a computer to process invoices and write letters.  It is preferred that you be familiar with point of sale software.  Preference will be given to applicant with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  Must know keyboard and ten key by touch with moderate speed.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  The lifting is generally confined to office equipment and supplies such as boxes of invoices.

No special vision requirements are necessary except that good vision (it may be corrected with prescription glasses) is necessary to do office work that includes computing.
