jade owls is a fast-growing oil & gas operator built on integrity, grit, and cash flow. Since 2022, we’ve grown more than 65x and currently operate 13,500 BOPD across Northeast Wyoming and Oklahoma.Â
We’re seeking an experienced Lease Operator to support daily field operations and production optimization.Â
Compensation & BenefitsÂ
- Hourly, non-exempt position
- Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state wage and hour lawsÂ
- Pay range: $33 – $43 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsÂ

 ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Operate and monitor wells, tanks, pumps, and production equipmentÂ
- Perform daily inspections to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operationsÂ
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues independentlyÂ
- Measure production volumes and recommend optimization improvementsÂ
- Complete accurate daily production and equipment reportsÂ
- Prepare oil tanks for sale and coordinate oil and water haulingÂ
- Ensure compliance with OCC, BIA, BLM, OSHA, and OK DEQ requirementsÂ
- Participate in route reviews and collaborate with Foremen and EngineeringÂ
- Maintain positive landowner and community relationshipsÂ
- Provide coverage for Foremen and assist with training entry-level Operators as neededÂ
QualificationsÂ
- High School Diploma or GEDÂ requiredÂ
- Process Tech or Maintenance Tech degree preferredÂ
- Previous oil & gas field experience preferredÂ
- Knowledge of various well types and production equipmentÂ
- Strong safety mindset; comfortable working independentlyÂ
- Reliable, driven, and team-orientedÂ
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVRÂ
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkÂ
Work EnvironmentÂ
- Outdoor field work in all weather conditionsÂ
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Â
- Exposure to hazardous equipment and H2S environmentsÂ
- Working independently more than 80% of the timeÂ
