Mexico Joe's - Dishwasher/Line Cook

About the role

Mexico Joe's is now looking for energetic and dependable Dishwashers and Line Cooks to join their teams!

As a Dishwasher/Line Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of dishware, workstations, and restrooms so that you and your team can provide a delightful dining experience to each and every guest. Your responsibilities may also include upholding the appearance standard of the restaurant by taking out the trash and maintaining the grounds, and other cleaning/utility tasks. Additionally, you will be in charge of keeping all supplies readily available for the team's success. Our Dishwashers play an integral role in the running of our restaurant!

The hourly rate starts at $13.25

Our preferred candidates will be available to work during these high-demand dates when we anticipate large crowds:

• Half of Spring Break, including one weekend: March 16 – March 20
• Boys from Oklahoma Concert and Gypsy Cafe: April 11 – April 12
• OSU Graduation Weekend: May 8 – May 9
• Special Olympics Oklahoma: May 13 – May 15
• 2026 OSU Home Football Games (dates TBD)
• Ability to work weekends and weekday mornings is a plus!

Job Requirements:

• Must wear a hat and company t-shirt
• Must wear socks and restaurant slip-resistant shoes
• Punctual and reliable
• Facial hair, mustaches, and beards must be kept neatly trimmed
• Flexible availability
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Listening and multi-tasking
• Teamwork mentality
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Standing & Walking for 8+ Hours
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
