Job Summary:
The Millwork Sales Support associate is expected to maintain a positive representation of Stillwater Building Center by providing an outstanding customer service experience consistent with company values. This role will assist the sales of showroom products by assisting the Millwork Specialist with preparation, documentation, and order entry, while greeting and assisting customers in the showroom. They should be willing to continually learn and expand their knowledge of the construction industry. Their job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, both in person and on the phone.
  • Create an inviting environment for customers.
  • Assist the Millwork Specialist with meeting preparation, quote and order processing, and customers in the Showroom.
  • Assist Contractors and Outside Sales Representatives with showroom products.
  • Assist Install Coordinator with order entry and processing of window and door orders for installation.
  • Assist Estimating staff with millwork quotes.
  • Maintain Showroom cleanliness and appearance.
  • Assist Lumber Desk and Sales Associates with customers and showroom projects.
  • Attend all staff meetings, and adhere to all store policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • A working knowledge of the products contained in the store with a willingness to continue to learn.
  • Organized, self-starter who thinks independently and solves problems.
  • Knowledge of effective sales methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • Strong math, and communication skills.
  • Able to work rotating Saturday shifts; typically 2 a month
