The Registered Nurse, Homecare Casual provides direct and indirect nursing care. The nurse is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization. Makes skilled nursing assessments of clients/caregivers in the homecare setting which includes physical, psychosocial, and environmental components.  Develops, revises, and updates care plans in consultation with primary physician, client, and caregiver. Coordinates all healthcare team members including client/caregiver to attempt to achieve the goals of the Care Plan.

 

Work Schedule:  0 hrs. weekly/0.0FTE Casual; Mon-Fri 8-4:30 pm, Weekend Rotation Minimum 40 hour per month availability required

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • Must have MN or WI Registered Nurse (RN) license upon start date.
    • Must provide proof of MN and WI Registered Nurse (RN) license within 4 months of start, if both MN and WI Registered Nurse (RN) licenses are not present on start date.
  • Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
  • Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Proof of application for alternate state within 4 weeks of start, if both MN and WI Registered Nurse (RN) licenses are not present on start date.
