- Ten years of power industry or directly related industrial experience including a minimum of five years of management experience, with strong safety and environmental leadership skills.

- Demonstrated understanding of power plant O&M, plant engineering, contracts and general plant business functions.

- Understanding of accounting, contract administration, HR, procurement and other plant administration functions.
|
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
|
- Ability to plan, coordinate and direct varied and complex programs and tasks.
|
- Ability to motivate employees to perform at a high level of efficiency and quality.
|
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, efficiently balance competing priorities and tasks, remain organized and meet deadlines in a high-pressured environment.

- Ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives and make or recommend sound decisions
|
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

- Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and use of the Internet.

- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, drawings, specifications, sketches and technical documentation.
|
- Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties.

- Must possess at any time a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to ORMAT’s auto insurance carrier.
