Position Summary:

The ABOM assists the Branch Manager with supervising the branch teller and customer service representative (CSR) staff. The ABOM will provide customers with accurate, helpful, and friendly handling of routine and complex transactions.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager with the branch's business and retail relationships (new and existing)
  • Assist the Branch Manager with directing and controlling the overall activities of the branch
  • Responsible for ensuring the day to day operational duties of the branch run smoothly
  • Ensure everyone in the branch is providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure the Branch receives Satisfactory Compliance Audits
  • Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services including Online/Mobile/Text Banking and Treasury Management Services
  • Ensure all bank policies and procedures are being followed
  • Ensure that dual control is always enforced when applicable
  • Ensure that all end of month reports, audits and testing are completed on a timely basis
  • Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager

  • Knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and government regulations
  • Ability to assist in the supervision of Branch personnel to imbue positive employee morale
  • Ability to assure that Branch operational functions are performed in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Flexible and highly motivated team member
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Good communication skills to provide excellent service to our valued customers

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
  • 2 Years Banking
  • 2 Years Supervisory experience
  • 2 Years Customer Service

 

Essential Job Functions:

Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position frequently will be required to perform problem resolution, and communicate with both internal and external customers. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
