In-Home Infant & Toddler Early Intervention Teacher

LifeWorks is seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are excited to provide early intervention services in families’ homes and natural environments. This is meaningful, relationship-based work focused on coaching caregivers so developmental progress happens within everyday routines — where it matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental assessments using the DAYC-2

  • Implement IFSP goals using a family-centered, parent coaching approach

  • Support caregivers in building confidence and practical strategies

  • Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and community settings

  • Complete bi-annual progress reports and required documentation

  • Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and ethical standards in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or related field OR Special Education teaching credential

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Familiarity with documentation and relevant software systems

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move therapy materials/equipment

  • Ability to sit, stand, and actively engage with young children for extended periods
