Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Data Specialist, you will help the clinical team by managing data, ensuring compliance with orders and authorizations, and maintaining vital supplies so they can provide seamless and compliant patient care.

 

Every day you will monitor and enter physician orders and insurance authorizations, manage clinical supplies and PPE, and maintain clinical files. You will be expected to collect and analyze operational and quality data, and produce regular and on-demand reports.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of compliance protocols, excellent data entry and analysis skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory and documentation.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in business, or any health care related field.
  • 2 years of business experience in the healthcare field, reading, generating and comprehending statistical data and reports.
  • Computer literacy in Excel and Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge in healthcare data Management.
  • Knowledgeable in McKesson/Cerner and Lawson Systems
  • Strong relationships with physicians and healthcare facilities within our area of service.
