What You Will Do
The FDC QA Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for monitoring the product counts, product quality and the accuracy of the facility’s processes to ensure the correct quantity and quality of products get to the store and ultimately to the customer. This role performs routine cycle counts of the inventory to ensure consistency between system quantity and physical quantity of product. This role manages inventory in-house such as consignment products, so that vendors can be appropriately paid for merchandise sold to the stores. Additional responsibilities include handling store claims of damaged product shipped from the Flatbed Distribution Center (FDC).

Key Responsibilities
• Ensures inventory accuracy is maintained by executing cycle counts daily; investigates discrepancies
• Completes and organizes annual inventory count sampling of the entire facility
• Adjusts inventory value losses and gains; reconciles consignment purchases or losses
• Resolves any issues in the warehouse management system; resolves missing license plate numbers
(LPN)
• Processes consignment buy-over; conducts vendor audits of consignment materials; adjusts
consignment inventories as result of cycle counts or vendor audits
• Investigates and resolves store claims for damaged product or missing/overage shipments
• Processes new product or updates dimensions of existing product into the warehouse management
system
• Assists vendor performing cycle counts of inventory
• Handles returned merchandise that goes back to the vendor or returned material that goes back to the
distribution center
• Handles customer service calls from the stores, such as special order sales (S.O.S) orders, vendor calls, proposed product shipment dates, etc. • Updates and prints S.O.S orders daily
 

What We're Looking For

  • Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.

  • Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility.

  • Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.

  • Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.



What You Need to Succeed

 Minimum Qualifications
 

  • High school diploma/ GED equivalent or technical school graduate

  • Possess a valid state driver’s license

  • Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements


Preferred Qualifications

  •  Bachelors Degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Experience working in distribution center operations.

  •  Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems.

  •  Experience using power equipment (e.g., forklift).

  •  Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  •  Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s warehouse management system.
