At our state-of-the-art facility, we offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including Bone Density studies, Stereotactic Core Biopsies, and Savi Scout procedures. Our advanced GE Mammography equipment, featuring both 2D and 3D capabilities, ensures the highest quality imaging for our patients. We use Cerner for electronic health records, providing efficient and seamless patient care. As a recognized Breast Center of Excellence, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to those we serve.

Position Overview: Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist)

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) performs a variety of digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control. The Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) ensures high-quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization, regulatory agencies, physicians, and staff. A working knowledge and experience in Digital Mammography, sterile technique, and documentation and record-keeping are essential for success in this role. This position requires the ability to work independently, provide excellent patient care and communication, and demonstrate a commitment to our Core Values.

• Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
• Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
• Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
• Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
• Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current CA Radiology Technologist license 
• Current Mammographic Permit
• Current BLS Certification
• Digital Training Documentation 
• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography Tomo training (8 hrs) Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months) and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months). 
• Able to operate radiologic equipment
• Good communication and patient care skills.

Preferred:

• ARRT Certificate
• IV Certification
• Associates Degree
